In November I will travel to Costa Rica on vacations, and I want to know the regulations on drone.

Should I ask for a permit or something similar?

For recreational use it seems there is no need for registration.
But I haven't been there yet...

Apart from registration issues, I'd recommend to check with the airline about having drones and batteries in your luggage. If in doubt, I'd put Sparky without batteries in the checked luggage, and the batteries (only half charged or even less) in the cabin bag.
I just came back from Iceland, and nobody cared about having a drone with me

Oh, and don't forget to post some beautiful footage from Costa Rica in this forum when you're back!
