Disclaimer: Yes, I'm a begginer and this is probably a video phenomenon I am not aware of. However I just want to make sure.
Was flying tonight when I noticed everytime I turned on the auxiliary light weird lines started to appear on my screen/video. It seemed funny bc I do a lot of night flying and I can't believe I never noticed it. It only happens with the aux light, everything else is fine (other light sources etc). Video was shot in 1080p but I get the lines in any resolution. 4k etc.
I've uploded a quick video on youtube.
I believe that's due to the frequency of the flickering of the leds lights and video frame rate, also called banding. Found this video that might help: https://youtu.be/srQlxkdpLAs

It is normal. Try to record that light with another device and you'll have the same effect. Don't use auxiliary light while you’re shooting.
Thank you for taking the time to reply. I don’t use the aux lights, I just noticed it while I mas landing last night.
