I was in a pretty high stress area and turned the spark off while footage was being recorded. Seems like it would be simple enough to fix that with an end video command when the unit is turned off dji.

Anyway, i tried to save it via a website where i used a command line in terminal. I was able to watch it, but footage was skipping. And I can't get it into adobe premeire. The resultant fixed file was an h264 file, which i did not even know that was a type of video file.

Is there any way to salavage the footage for a premeire project? Thanks for any help with this.

I made the same mistake today, but the video I had just recorded was on the SD card like it always is.

I guess the button on the battery tells the onboard computer to shut down, so it closes the file before it turns itself off.

Yes that happened to me too. Made a nice footage, then landed and just turned the battery off, not noticing that recording was still active
The video file was on the card, but I can't play it. So I did that footage shot again...thank god, I still had another charged battery with me.
It would be a nice feature to turn video recording off /automatically/ when motors are being turned off.

Thanks. That is the one i tried. I could watch it, although it was skipping. And I could not pull it into premeire for editing.

I have pretty much written off the footage at this point.

Thanks. I have already completed the project without the aerial footage.

Good old dji. Drive out to a location with my drone, get a shot I need in a hectic area, arrive home and get nothing out of it because I turned off my drone.

It is funny because we think we are so technilogically advanced for some reason, as humans, but we can't even make it so recorded footage will come out of a camera that had been turned off.
