i just bought a new Mavic air, but the video is terrible, very choppy and sometimes big patches appear in the video, i tried both the internal storage and a sd card but no difference, i´m using 4k, and i went through camera settings but everything looks O.K.
i hope there is a solution.

What SD Card are you using? Might be too weak for the 4K. Have you tried another resolution?

Just give a try to save video on the internal storage !

How exactly are you attempting to play the video?

Did you copy the files to your computer before attempting to play them?

Try uploading one of your videos to YouTube to see if it's choppy there too. If it plays as expected, then something on your computer is causing it to play back incorrectly.

I think the issue here might be your device.
What device and which app version are you using?
You might need to do an app downgrade to 4.2.12 for everything to work as it should.

I use the USB cable from DJI, to transfer the files from the AC to the computer, when i look at the video on the phone (i know it´s lower resolution) the same blotches and shakiness  can be seen.

Or can you upload one of the videos from your AC and link it here? You can upload the file to a file sharing site like dropbox.com.

Maybe the newer dji go app would be better?

Lowering the framerate to 25 did´nt make any difference.

I totally believe you. My thought was that you could rule out your computer as the issue by playing it from a different computer where 4K video is known to play back well.

I don't think installing a newer version of DJI GO is going to help. The video is stored on the aircraft -- and that happens whether or not DJI GO is running.

It works and the only  thing which is not normal is the wind no breakup or error on screen.
Plays as normal.

Did you watch the whole video, i see a lot of artefacts and strange things.

Also i cant see the video in the link.

I´m used to the videos from my spark which were very smooth and clean, this looks like garbage compared to that.

Somehow i still cant see the video.

If you can you should test it in an other pc.
I think your PC is the one which don't handle the 4K video.
It's very few phones which handle 4K video good.

All three videos look absolutely fine to me (downloaded them, not using drive player), not choppy at all - you scared the goats a bit, but not too much. Its nt the video that's bad here ...

It's the video in post #18 which the OP was posting, and that plays normal to me.
It's my goats so it's OK.

Sorry, I thought this was more examples; but the vid in #18 looks fine as well - a bit windy.
Goats were probably hoping you'd feed them ;) - seals (?) didn't seem to be caring one bit ... nice place to be in!

I can´t see my own video #18.

Maybe it´s the computer, but the video on the phone is the same.

how do i know if  the computer can handle 4k ?

I have come to the conclusion that neither the computer nor the phone can handle 4k, so tomorrow i will try 1080p, i know the computer can handle  that.

Thank you very much, i did download it and it works fine if the video is very short, but if it´s more than 2 minutes, it freezes, so i´m quite sure it´s my computer and phone that can´t handle 4k, so i will be using 1080p in the future, tomorrow i going to try how it looks (i hope that it´s as good as on the spark).

To test your phone you can download XPlayer from Play Store. And 2.7k should work on your PC.
