Had my first mishap with Active Track on the Mavic Pro.
My friends Mavic was in front of me so I decided to try Active Track on it.
I got a "GO" and when I hit it my Mavic decided to kill his drone. I was glad I was slightly below it.
As you can see from the video it shot forward and the gimbal pitched up looking for his Mavic. It just stopped and I canceled the Active Track and went back to flying as normal.

Has Anyone else had this glitch lately??

Could have been worse buddy, could have splatted and been am awful ending. Glad you are still good to go.

Just lucky no crash there B1, i had done similar before with my friends mavic and mine but my Pro was above his and had no issues, maybe you need to be on top and not under

The MP didn't miss the other drone by much. If they would of been eye to eye I would of hoped the sensors would of stopped it. But I am Not going to try that theory out.

It’s seems drone on drone active track is often a recipe for disaster...

Could be right.
I remember I tried Active Track on his drone last year and it followed pretty good until he sped off and the MP lost it and just stopped.
Not sure if I want to try another position. Just to play safe I will keep my distance.

wow!  too close for comfort, don't think that I will try that, glad to see that you're still flying B1

it seems to be some issues with Active Track..i've had mine while tracking cars or motorcycles. i did not try with another drone though..
glad that everything is ok with your machine!

Hi, sorry about what happened to your drone. May I know if your drone is still on the good condition? I would recommend tracking a clearer subject for the drone to detect it accurately. Please avoid interferences as well to prevent the incident. Thank you for the support.

MP is in great condition. No damage done from the close encounter.
Thank you for your concern.
Will make sure my subject is recognizable before activating Active Track.
