Is it usual that when connecting th RC to a Android or Ipad the RC stays ..... charging?

Hello and good day. This issue is normal because the mobile device needs on-going 500mA to maintain the USB connection. This process is needed so that the remote controller and the device will not be disconnected. Thank you.
