I just got a new I pad 4 mini, installed DGI go 4. On the first flight it limited my distance and height. Evan though I had distance limit turned off. Is there a setting that I am missing? It worked perfect with my android cell phone.

Make sure you're not in beginner mode.

Also make sure that you are flying in gps mode. And no errors. No messages on the screen like height and distance limited and no nice women’s voice telling you that they are limited also

Good question, but that is basic knowledge to know before starting to fly. (if i may say so)

My advive: read the manual few times, see many video of flying drones etc.

if you upload your flightlog mayby forum members can see what happend with that distance limit.

You also need to be signed into the app, as you are now.

Remember you can only change settings when RC and Aircraft are both turned on. Otherwise settings will revert to default.

You will be in GPS mode as soon as Good to fly lights up green on your telemetry top right on your device screen, to have good gps lock you should be showing 11 or above sats and or 4/5 green bars, both of these are on the top of your screen.

Thanks all for the advise. It turns out that I was not logged into the app. Boy how dumb am I. Everything is A OK now.

Thought that might be it, it’s very common mistake, just a tip for you before you leave home to fly make sure your signed in, just in case your in an area of weak WiFi or none at all.
