Put simply “ you can’t” with the DJI GO App, there aren’t any options in the camera or video settings other than the recording ratios.
If your mobile device camera records in raw format then just use your mobile device camera.
The Osmo Mobile 2 by itself can't do anything other than stabilize the camera's movement. But, DJI added the DJI GO app to enhance the use of the stabilizer allowing it to do other things that the camera can do. Osmo Mobile 2 (Stabilizer) + Users camera = Stabilization (Osmo), 1080P or 4K (users camera), Zoom (users camera), and on and on. So, if DJI can make these other options available, they should make many other options available such as recording in RAW if available on the users camera. Some options are only available for the iPhone only. Recording in RAW is very important to many photographers as well as stabilization so DJI needs to stop listening to Apple Inc., and open up the options even if it means that we might have to pay for the app. These many other options that your smart phone can do can be accomplished with the DJI GO app. Look at the Drone's of which I have and their many capabilities. Amazing what they can do with the smart phone. So, to DJI, I ask, when will you open up the many possibilities of your Osmo Mobile 2, mainly, recording in raw through the DJI GO app? Thanks for your time. |
