After seeing the Osmo Pocket being able to connect to a separate device for control, I was wondering if I'd be able to do the same with my Osmo Mobile 2 and a pair of cell phones?
Like if I wanted to record with one phone mounted on the gimble and control the functions using another.
"Rumor" has it that FilMic Pro is updating their app to work with this iteration of the Osmo. They have a second app called "FilMic Remote" that allows you to use a second phone/tablet as a monitor and the ability to switch between the two for control. I'm going to monitor their website to see when/if the rumor is true.
It can only connect to one at a time... but you can sort of do what you want... Turn off bluetooth on the phone in the OSMO and connect to it with another phone. I can't come up with a reason to do that though but it can be done. I do something similar when I have my GoPro clone mounted in the osmo.. and use my iPod to run DJIGo to control the motion of the gimbal for a motion lapse.
