Hello and good day. Thank you for raising this question with us today. Please prepare a pre flight check list everytime you fly your DJI Spark. Please check the propellers as well. You should check them for cracks, chips and warping. Please do calibrate the compass if needed as well. Check the environment as well for objects that can interfere with the signals for the remote controller to the drone. If you have any other concerns please feel free to post it here at DJI Forum. We are here to help you. Thank you.

Have a preflight exercise write it down and carry it with you, it doesn’t need to be long short to the point and sweet.

Don't store the drone in cold weather.  The batteries don't like being cold.  The drone taken from a car and flown or from the house and flown is fine as the Spark running/flying will keep it warm enough.

If you have never flown a radio control model, you should buy a cheap toy drone to help you learn orientation and control of a drone without GPS stabilization.  The Spark's GPS stabilization that helps beginners think they are pilots is prone to turn off at times.  At that point, you need those real pilot skills the toy will give you.

Another question. Are the Spark's motors brushless?

A big TIP , don't upgrade your GO app without checking if it's for the Spark(set auto update OFF).

Keep the batteries in a nice warm spot or in your pocket and insert the battery only right before flight.
LiPo batteries hate it cold. Once flying, they keep themselves warm.
For your comfort, you'll need a pair of warm, but thin finger gloves. When fingers get cold, you don't have the feeling and smoothness anymore...
