Is it just me that I noticed my MA batteries would lose charge sitting there not used. I'd have to keep them plugged into the charger to keep them full. But once they're full, the charger shut off obviously, but then the batteries will lose charge over time just sitting there.

Am I doing this right? what do you guys recommend?

Thanks

Every battery will lose charge if you are not using it. But i think you mean you will leave your batteries multiple days/weeks?
This is the auto-discharge function, and is there to prevent your battery from breaking down/getting worse over the time. Normally it is around 10 days that the battery will slowly start to discharge to around 60%

Hello and good day idontknow. I appreciate your time bringing this query to us. The DJI Mavic Air Intelligent Flight Battery is an 11.55 V, 2375 mAh battery with smart charging/discharging functionality. To prevent swelling, the battery automatically discharges to below 65% of the maximum charge when it is idle for more than 10 days. It takes approximately one day to discharge the battery to 65%. It is normal to feel the moderate heat being emitted from the battery during the discharging process. For additional reference I will post a link where you can check the DJI Mavic Air Intelligent Flight Battery Safety Guidelines. Thank you.

@idontknow, how much time is passing before you notice the batteries are starting to lose their charge?
