Every time I start a spherical pano (with Go 4) the shooting sequence begins with the Nadir and will lock the exposure level to that lighting situation. The Nadir is usually by far the darkest spot and subsequently all other shots are over-exposed. To avoid this I choose an shooting angle where the illumination level is somewhere in the middle between brightest and darkest area of the sphere. This is mostly at the horizontal somewhat off the direction of the sun. Then I lock AE manually. If I forget this procedure the resulting pano is almost always grossly overexposed and often not satisfactory repairable in post processing.
Does anyone know a way to set the shooting sequence different (say start at the horizontal where the camera is pointed towards)?
