I know you can connect the googles to your mavic pro via wireless connection,  but can a usb wired option also work?  I'm concerned about the wireless option vrs distance between googles and drone.   Seems like a week link to me and an invitation to trouble

No problem with long range flying with the goggles Re's.

I've flown out two miles easily with them, it only drop from 1080p to 720p

With the googles is there a presentation of google maps in the lower right window like an ipad or phone would have?  If so where does the map info come from?

They don't show a map. But all other needed info is there.

Yes the goggles show that. Obstacles, distance, speed, height everything you
need to insure a safe flight
