My first "Camera Drone" was a Walkera V200D02 Flybarless 4  channel RC single main rotor with an added under slung keychain camera.  A VLOS machine where the camera is started to filming video and then fly. Bring  her back in and then check to see if there is anything interesting found on the video.

I've been slinging Keycams on RC models for years .... as well as lately - I have the Soloshot Robot Camera system to video the model in flight ... that you mount a GPS TAG on the model which then the camera tracks ... good for slow stuff but iffy on flying models.

I have various FPV camera setups that I can mount on models as a clip on system using the balance lead of the models lipo to power.

The video world has revolutionised in last few years to such miniature gear that even indoor models can be FPV now.
