New spark user here. Do you need to enable GPS on your phone? I'm using the controller and connecting the phone via WiFi. Thanks

Hi, thanks for the inquiry. Using the GPS on your mobile device is not necessary unless you'll be using the dynamic home point that the drone will automatically track your current position as home-point. Please let us know if you have other concerns. Thank you for continued support.

Helpful for dynamic home point and for 'find my drone'  IT doesn't cause any problems so leave it turned on.
