Hi,

New to the Mavic 2 Pro but have watched a lot of youtube videos on how to setup best video settings...

I now have 35gb of 1bit Dlog-M Video to edit.

What sort of processing power do you need to edit these files.?

I am using Vegas Movie Studio Platinum to edit on a what I think shold be a pc with enough grunt to edit but seems to be getting bogged down?

Cheers

Hi, thanks for the inquiry. We would recommend checking the capability of your computer as well if it could support the resolution that we've recorded on the Mavic 2 Pro. We're hoping that you could get the best recommendation on what application you may use to edit your video. Thank you for the support.

Works fine with 1920x1080 videos.

64bit windows OS
16gb High speed Ram
Nvida GeForce 720 video with on board hi speed cuda ram
Plenty of HDD space

Using Vegas Movie Studio Platinum V15 that uses gpu processing.

When you add your clips right click and choose Create Video Proxy. Use the Proxys to do your editing then when your finished go up to "Make Movie", Save to Hard Drive then click Advanced Options. On the left side are several formats depending on if your burning a DVD or Blue Ray. Use Magix AVC/AAC MP4 if your going to post on the internet. On the right side you can choose 4K and whatever fps you used. If you have an NVIDIA card it will give you that option as well. Make sure you select your destination and name it otherwise it will default to a Movie Studio file and destination. Click render and go have a couple beers.

Hello,
I currently run a laptop with a i7-7700hq 2.8 ghz, 16gb of ram and a NVIDA GTX 1050 ti 4Gb. I use it occasionally for editing on davinci resolve 15 with h265 8bit video and it kinda slows down but that can be easiely contributed to the fact I am not able to utilize 70% of the GPU while rendering. but overall works just fine.

Hi,
Thanks. I will give this a try.

I have had a fair bit of experience with 1920x1080 but first time with 4K.

Cheers.
