Hi,

I previously posted regarding a flight with my Mavic 2 Zoom and it disconnected several times.
At one point it headed off on its own without any controller input.
I've now worked out hoe to download the flight record & here it is:

I've only been flying since December & would appreciate any advise regarding the above disconnects.

Many thanks

What device do you use? Also are you in CE mode or FCC?

Check your cable

I'll second that.

I use a lot of USB devices and the only cable failures I've had were the flat type. I keep spares in my flight case for those just in case moments.

Hi there, thank you for reaching out and we're sorry to hear about the trouble. With regards to your concern, you having a disconnection issue from the device to the remote? You may give a try to use the bottom USB port from the remote and try a different USB cable just to isolate the issue. Please keep us posted. Thanks!

Thanks everyone for your comments.
I had to look up CE vs FCC as I wasn't sure what that was - I fly with the standard settings in the UK so I will be flying in CE mode.
I'm pretty sure that the USB cables were properly plugged in, but I guess it is possible that a plug may have become dislodged???
Actually that point is really useful to know - if the same thing happens again then I'll certainly check the USB cable.
Since this scary flight I've updated the firmware (update was posted a few days after the incident) I now use the USB using the bottom USB plug.
I've reinstalled the DJI Go app.
I will never again take off if there is anything unusual showing on the app.
And I've bought the Sandisk Extreme Micro SD cards that DJI recommend.
Covering all bases after losing control, multiple times, in that flight over the fast flowing river......
Don't want to lose my Mavic 2 Zoom........
