When visiting Hanoi or northern Vietnam, Ha Long Bay is on everyone's bucket list. It's lesser known cousin is Bai Tu Long Bay, which is the group of islands just to the east. They share the same stunning limestone massifs that rise from the blue green water, but they seem to be a little quieter than their world famous neighbor.
We were there last week and had a chance to capture this footage with a Mavic Air (and GoPro Hero 7 Black). If you want more info on this location you can read about our adventures in these islands on our blog: https://outtheredoingthat.com/bai-tu-long-bay-vietnam/ Enjoy this video!
Thanks! It's all a work in progress but its been fun to learn both flying the Mavic Air as well as making videos from the footage. They definitely go hand in hand.
I can't claim credit for the scenery - that was mother nature. But having a great place to shoot really helps! Highly recommend a visit if you ever get a chance.

Amazing video! What editing software did you use to allow you to edit in Hd for both the Mavic Air and GoPro?
I've been recording in 4K on both the MavicAir and GoPro Hero 7 Black. I've done all my video editing in Adobe Premiere Rush, which is their multiplatform (mobile / desktop) editing software. It doesn't have near the features of the full Premiere Pro. I'm thinking about upgrading to have access to those, but it's been a solid platform for me. Let me know if I can answer any other questions. Cheers!
