live in USA or flying in USA? do it, label your drone, you must by today

The thread is regarding the new FAA requirement in the USA to place a clearly visible FAA registration number on the outside of your drone.
Your comment about registering your drone - you just have to do that before you fly.  No penalty involved.  Once you do register then you will get a number to put on your drone.

We haven’t such a rule here in Ukraine but my phone number and my name is always ontop of the drone.

Putting the label inside the battery compartment seemed silly to me, so Sylvester has always born his number proudly.
