I've seen several videos of people simply moving the GPS wire under the shell to the opposite side and placing some shielding foil in it to better isolate the GPS in order to achieve better GPS lock.  In the videos it appears to work.

If this is such an easy remedy I'm surprised DJI simply doesn't do this or possibly situate the GPS antenna outside the shell like in other machines being marketed out there.

It has been implemented on the new models  by DJI and yes it does indeed work.....
