When I bought the Mavic 2 on release one of the things I admired most was it's ROCK STEADY STABILITY. I could do a 30 minute hyper lapse and no movement. Now, for the past couple of months I'm getting drifting and or turning and on 0 wind days.

Anyone know what would cause a once steady drone to start moving like this? Movement was one of the things I hated about my P4P 2 and it's approaching that.

Anything I can try?

Thanks

Could be magneric, electro-magnetic or gps interference, are you getting any warnings?

@BrianKushner : i have got the same problem , you can see here ->
@El Diabolico & SPIKE_151 : before each flight, I calibrate my IMU and compast to have the safest flight . I thought it was due to the wind but I had already made videos with more difficult weather conditions without this problem pause at M2P

Hi, we're sorry to know about this situation. You may re-calibrate the IMU and compass of your drone to see if there will be changes. I would recommend checking the GPS signal if it would be strong enough to fly your drone and avoid interference to prevent the incident. Please keep us posted on the latest progress.

Yeah like everyone else, just recalibrate everything in a place with 0 interference and metal.

Well, it doesnt hurt to recommend a solution. I know its a "generic" solution, but you never know until you try it.

Hi,
I tested this weekend , maybe a little less wind but I can see a progress compared to the last video. I will make other videos to compare.
Thank you for reading me and to your answers

I used to get that a lot on my Air.  Never thought about doing an IMU calibration.  I will look out for that on my 2.
