New battery 100% - when turning on the spark it makes odd noises and does not boot normally.  One light fails to come on at all, remaining lights (forward) out of sequence and left (rear) light stays solid red.  Attempted to update but failed several times.. updated controller as a stand alone.  Spark itself fails at 99%, have tried several times with same results. The issues began immediately with full battery.  So far it's become pretty much a paperweight.. no possible way to fly.  I have taken video of start-up sequence but don't know how to attach to this message.

Are you using DJI GO as assistant 2 to update firmware? You said the issues started with a full battery, do you mean new battery because it’s  supposed to be a fully charged battery    If it’s a new battery it might need a firmware update.  If you cannot get it to update and the DJI assistant 2 software I would return the spark for a new one.  Sounds like you might be dealing with some internal issues  

Attach your video to YouTube or your cloud storage & provide a link via the share option. If you don't understand, search the 'net on how to share cloud storage & provide a link.
PC/Mac/IOS/Windows/Android/Linux - versions  - DJI Go 4?  DJI Assistant 2?  Please supply more info for assistance.

Have you tried to reset the firmware by using DJI Assistant 2? If you haven't tried it, then you should!

Just a quick update - contacted DJI support and after trying everything shown below and more problem was narrowed down to a 4No. ESC Failure requiring replacement.  As of this time the Spark has been sent for repair/replacement - it was new unit.
