New FW, looks like a fairly big one, I can’t update because mine is on its way to Netherlands, add any comments to let us know how it’s going.

• Smart Controller Firmware: v01.00.0530
• DJI GO 4 App: v4.3.16
• DJI Pilot App: v1.3.0
• DJI Assistant 2: DJI Assistant 2 For Mavic v2.0.8
  

What’s New?

• Added Aircraft Management under settings. Once connected to the Smart Controller, an aircraft can be added and managed in Aircraft Management. Mavic 2 Pro, Mavic 2 Zoom, Mavic 2 Enterprise, and Mavic 2 Enterprise Dual are supported.
• Added Dual Remote Controller mode (requires DJI GO 4 v4.3.16 or later).
• Added a warning prompt if the compass of the remote controller requires calibration. Users can also now check the status of the compass under settings.
• Added an option to set the external microSD card as the default storage location.
• Added Camera Lock. Once enabled, if users press the focus/shutter or record button when DJI GO 4 is not running or is running in the background, no photo will be taken or video will be recorded.
• Added ability to update the built-in DJI GO 4 and DJI Pilot apps independently from the system update.
• Optimized DJI GO Share. Any photo or video stored in the GO Share folder of the microSD card root directory can be shared to a mobile device using DJI GO Share.
• Updated DJI GO 4 to v4.3.16.

Did just try a wireless update, but as it says you need to use assistant 2, so as suspected it failed!

Hope the date bug 2013 has/will be solved with this fw

Yes indeed,it’s the one thing we really need as a priority!

Sadly it’s not working for us.

Tried twice using assistant v2 over usb, both failed at 97%.

Similar story with WiFi Jupdste, got so far then hung.

Do you mean yours did the same as our did and failed at 97%?

I was able to update with no problems, haven't flown just yet but the good news is that it appears the Date/Time issue is no longer present!

I have been able to update with no problems too. Let's see next weekend if everything goes well...

Unfortunately mine is on the way back to dji to be repaired .

Failed at 98%. Error Code: 0x000008 or Error Code: 0x000015 (tried upgrade 3 times without success). Windows 10, DJI Assistant 2 for Mavic.
Update:
I changed to my Mac and installed the latest DJI Assistant 2 for Mavic, and then the update worked. I did not have the latest version of Assistant (April 25, V2.0.8) on my Windows computer, I had the version before that. I don't know if that could have played in why it did not work on my Windows computer.

Update:
No SD Card in, Update via DJI Assistant 2. Error Code : 0x00b007. After 98% it crash....

Won’t be able to update til later today. Wonder if this update release sdk for litchi app and enable the live feature or even the screen recording feature to work.

yes i always do, as i know it reinstalls the horndis driver.

its has made no difference.

following on another thread it said that assiant 2 had been updated too. so i download the mac versions of that.

guess what?

despite saying its the latest version of V2, it just reinstalls an old version of Assiant V1!!

i mean seriously!!

so tried downloading again, and yep you just get the old original version.

luckily i have the V2 i already had saved in my downloads so reinstalled that version.

trying update  again now.

didn't work!! same issues as before!!

seems something odd with the Mac version too, its just taking for ever to download !!

i get the feeling someone at the dji server end is playing and or overwriting it!!

yeah mine keeps failing and now the unit wont turn off either, what a f---ing game this is

tried everting to turn ours off. nothing works.

have now managed to get V2.0.8 of firmware updated.

trying update with that now.

this has taken me about 4 hours!!

looks like they gonna get a crap load of bricked controllers back very soon mine included
