I have video transmission problems, I have tried several tablets and they all give me the same problem, everything works less the transmission of video to the iPad, the Drone is fine, with another control it works perfectly.

look at the status icons, the HD appears full but the image can not be seen.

What tablets have you tried? Are they ones on the DJI recommended list?

And how old are they, I find my older iPad struggles anyway, not that I use it for flying.

Hardware does seem to need to be up to date for better performance in general.

You need a newer version of the iPad, that has been the case for ages. In the Mini range, the Mini 4 is about the minimum now.

I agree, as I said I don't use it for flying as I have a P4A+, I was just trying to highlight that hardware soon goes out of date and becomes slower, albeit due to lack of memory, processor speeds and software. I just use mine now for travelling.

And that possibly Smaylin needs to upgrade his kit for a happy ending.

Smaylin do you have any friends thaat you could try using their newer versions of an ipad or android tablet, just to prove either way ?

I am having this same issue with my Phantom 4 Standard.  I have tried all kinds of firmware upgrades/downgrades to no avial.

I have used the following devices, all with the same results

Sony Xperia XZ2
Sony Xperia Z2 10.1 (2011)Hauwei P9 Plus
Apple iPhone 7

Did this issue get resolved?  if so how.
