Hi guys,
I recently got my P2VP & flew it a couple of times. It hasn't crash or drop ever since but lately it started to act strange. It doesn't lock GPS homepoint (Green LED) like before. The Phantom vision app requires me to calibrate everytime & still the LEDs are slow flashing yellow & at times yellow to red!
Like some of them posted here the support hasn't gotten back to me too. I'm a film student & I saved my money just to get this for my indie film making. Pls help.

If you are not recognizing any sats on your iphone or whatever you are using, you won't get any green lights and no gps lock.  It sounds like your gps antenna has failed.  I would contact dji support or the dealer you bought it from.

Ok, lets get rid of the simple mistakes first, then take it from there.  Have you had the shell or body apart?  Is this a photo while you are outside, or inside the house?  Have you painted the top or had some kind of decal tape over the top?  Have you had a hard landing before?

Please connect to the Assistant software, check is there any error message. Also, please check the Compass value is within the normal range or not.

Take it outside to see if you get any sats.  Inside my house when it is setting on my desk, I don't get any sats either.

Take your phantom outside with your transmitter like you were going to fly, without actually starting the motors.  Power on everything and see if your phone says you have acquired satellites.  When I power on the phantom inside, my phone says I have no satellites when I am inside, but I take it outside and pick up all of them.  Having your phantom inside will not pick up any satellites whether you are connected to the computer or not.  It has to have a line of sight to see the satellites.

Yup, I tried it. Tried contacting DJI but their service sucks. I don't even understand what they mean too.

The image looks like the Phantom is inside a structure (home?).  If true then you won't get any satellites; take the Phantom outside, with a clear view of the sky and see if you get satellites.

Does your smartphone get satellites and GPS lock?  There are many free apps that will report satellite locks; I use them to test and verify.

Something else I noticed with my unit today that might help...

I had the same issue today, it was finding no satellites.  I knew I hadn't calibrated the compass so I did that and shortly thereafter the satellites where acquired.  I don't why they would be connected but it gave me the impression that an uncalibrated compass affects the unit reporting satellites.

I have the same problem here no satellites on my phone but the only difference is that I can lock the gps home point

are you sure that is not the couse lock you see set.

first set of green lights at 30 seconds is course (compass) lock...not gps

gps lock is second  set
