Apparently a drone was spotted by an airline pilot, 13 miles out to sea, 29 miles east of Southend, UK and it came within 46 meters of the aircraft. Apparently the airliner was at 9700 feet altitude.

You couldnt make this stuff up, what a joke, 2.7 km altitude, 13 miles out to sea! Think this airline pilot should have gone to specsavers

The report also says it was in front of the plane and then flew above it. (not that the plan passed by under it.) I am amazed the drone could fly so fast, so high and so manoeuvrable.
Now this is a serious M-F-ing drone and I guess we would all like one.

BBC should know better than report this utter rubbish.

It seems now that UFO = Drone.

If the captain has said, I've been buzzed by a UFO, he would get laughed at.
Buzzed by a drone however... well we all know where that goes.

I bet next, the drone was red & gold colored, with two slate line eyes and a blue circle light in the center.
