On the 6th of June 1944 this land was covered in every kind of vehicle the allies had as well as supplies needed to support the troops on D-Day

It really is, the open flat land owes its existence to the demands of the military in the early nineteenth century for a clear range of fire from the harbour defences at any enemy ships which dared to approach Portsmouth and its dockyard

Yeah but they are just ordinary looking fields though mate - nothing special to look at. Part of it is now used as a remote RC field.
