Is there a reason a USB-C to USB-C cable won’t charge the Osmo Pocket via the Wireless Module?

I can use a USB-A to USB-C cable and it will charge, just not C to C.

The Osmo sans Wireless Module will charge C to C fine, however.

What gives?

Having used several USB-C peripherals on my own (power bank, portable monitor, etc.), I have to say that USB-C peripherals still have problems with standardization. I also encounter the wireless module charging problem as yours, as in my USB-C PD power bank.

The USB-C connector on the back of the wireless module does not conform to USB-C standards.  If you use a true USB-C PS it will not supply power because the Wireless Adapter will not handshake with it.

I had asked the same question almost half a year ago already, but never got a DJI reply.
