Just received my Mavic 2 Zoom yesterday.

Everthing charged up in preperation for acticvation.

Followed tutorial , got to end of activation, message recieved "Activation Failed" retry did that a dozen times.

No Joy.

Rang support aand was advised an email will be forwarded to assist with activation via PC.

2 hours pass no email.

Further attempts still fail.

Guideance please

Did you tried on some different internet connection? Ideally different provider?

And maybe try also different phone if you are using standard controller.

Also try reinstalling the GO4 app

All fixed finally.

Different phone, different provider LOL I live in Regional Western Australia with only SAT broadband.

Turns out it was activated, even though displayed FAILED.

Support were gonna send me an email to assist, never arrived is this the norm?

Interesting start to my DJI experience.

Anyway got it in the air GREAT.

Hi, there, Thank you for reaching out and we do apologize for the inconvenience. May I ask if what mobile device are you currently using to activate your drone? Also, please make sure that you are connected to your local internet for you to fully activate the drone. In addition, ensure that the Aircraft is also connected to the Remote Controller and the RC is full connected to the Mobile device.  I will be posting an official video tutorial on how to properly activate your DJI Mavic 2 Zoom. Please keep us posted on the latest updates for us to help you further with this concern.

My mobile device is a Samsung S8.

My local internet is my home wireless network, via a Satellite Broadband Service.

My network is 2.4 & 5.8 Ghz, is this the same frequency as the Mavic 2?

During the process I noticed my Wireless network crashed.

This morning I had the remote and Drone switched on to Calibrate the IMU and my network crashed again.  

Is this a coincidence?

I can't say , a bit out of my area of expertise.
