Is the Ronin-SC focus motor working with the Ronin-S?

What exactly is not working? As the focus wheel is the same....

The power source on the Ronin-S outputs a higher voltage than the Ronin-SC focus motor can handle. This is because the Ronin-S uses a 4-cell battery in the handle and the Ronin-SC uses a 2-cell battery. Therefore when designing the Ronin-SC focus motor, we used a lower voltage requirement.

Short answer is no, the Ronin-SC focus motor will not work with the Ronin-S.

Voltage to low; so no, it won't work.

what kind of voltage are we talking about here

I have ronin S focus motor and it works with 5V output obviously


if i wanted to buy a ronin SC now, what kind of output does it have so it cannot power the ronin s motor, 2.5v or what?
