Hi,

I've just received my Phantom 3 Professional and am trying to download the DJI Pilot app onto my Ipad Mini 2. I have updated the operating software to the most up to date version 8.3. But I still get a message saying the app is not compatible with my device, and the app wont download. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Take a screen capture and post it.     I have mini 2 as well and it works fine.

I've realised it must be because I have the Ipad Mini with no GPS.

Thanks.

Hello there:

...I have no Apple because I really like open-source but that being said because of the lag and no simulator in the android pilot app I am looking at my first Apple...I heard that mini 3 or above will be the only apple mini aloud to upgrade OS and I was really looking at the air 2 for my self to use with the pilot app and having no Apple in my line-up to date I am wondering how much memory I need and how will get my pics and vids in to my PC world to edit and play with...?

Either iPad mini 2 will suffice. No significant gain with the Mini 3. Your pics and vids are stored on the mSD card. Upload to your PC via card reader or USB adapter and you're good to go..

Easy answer - you thought you had the iPad Mini 2 but you have the ver. 1
Cause it works on the mini2
check the model numbers here to identify....

I know cause I did the same thing.
Try to sell the mini v1 and get a used mini2 just with 16GB only WIFI -  that is the cheapest solution and I must say that for me it works perfect.

cheers´
