I have the Inspire 1. Yesterday when I was out shooting I got a whole day of corrupted files. Not sure why this happened. I have seen some files being corrup previsouly but not a whole day.
Can it be releated to that I uploaded some content from my sd card to a friends MacBook the day before? I use Windows myself.
I have tried:
1. Putting back the SD card in the drone and start it, left in on for 2-3minutes, but noting happened to the files.
2. Repairing Corrupt DJI Video Files, see below picture (http://live555.com/drones/DJI-Phantom-2-Vision+-video-fix/)
3. VLC, VLC repair.
4. The one that seem to be working is https://www.stellarinfo.com/disk-recovery/video-repair/buy-now.php but they charge 69 or 99 USD.
Someone that have the magic trick? Know of a free corrupt video software? Anything?
I have a tought that the corrupt files can be related to `Compass Error. Exit P-GPS mode` Error. Anyone that knows if there is a bug releated to this error?
Br Jesper

Hi, Jesper, if the video files are important for you. I would suggest you go-ahead for Stellar Repair for Video Software. I know it's paid but no other solution for free to repair corrupt files. Thanks!
If you're looking for a free tool on Windows, you can try Recover_MP4. It has no GUI and operates via a Command Prompt. See this article for details on how to run the tool:

Hi, Jesper,
It seems that your videos are corrupted, to recover them you may need a third-party tool. I have used many recovery tools before to recover my corrupted files, including the Recuva, Minitool and EaseUs, these tools are good indeed, but they were all failed in recovering my files. I finally used the Bitwar Data Recovery to recover my corrupt files, it has a function called deep scan which is very useful.
So if you want to use recovery tools, I hope it can offer you some suggestions. And I hope you can recover your videos successfully.
Best regards.
After 3 hours of trying to fix the corrupted footage on my Mac, with the solutions in this thread (thank you), I tried the DJI drone app on my phone and the footage was viewable and downloadable. Just a thought! I had flown my drone into a waterfall and it fell into a pool, submerged for a couple of minutes. When I got home my computer was unable to view the corrupted files on the card. After my drone dried I turned it on and it seems to be working. It was then I remembered I could see the footage in the app, So stoked.
