Lets put all our first flights in one spot and try and get it stickied.  I keep seeing new first flight posts.

Here's mine:

Great first flight - only thing make sure that the camera is not pointing straight down when you land , you want the camera lens not to hit the ground .   Horizontal when you land ..

Thanks, I'm getting better at that.  Getting better at everything really.  I filmed some stuff for a musician friend, cool shots of zipping along bluffs.  I've been practicing the patterns that are in the manual, do you know of any other ways to train to become a better flyer?

Practice in a open area , an keep practicing . If you ever get too close to a obstacle , slow movements are best , sometimes you can get disoriented and move toward the obstacle , instead of away from it ...
