I bought the mavic 2 pro, My first drone was the mavic air so I will compare with this one.
The M2P is really bigger and heavier. When you are backpacker (me) and sometimes no car, he take more space that the air. For my trip Canada and USA, I bought a car so It’s not a problem right now but maybe later ...
Second thing, the gimbal (see the picture), the gimbal is scratched when I put on and off the protector .. Someone have the same problem ? Does Dji know this mistake ? The gimbal protector of the mavic air is 1000x more easy and better conception. I have my drone a month. I use it a couple times per week. I’m really sad ... @dji ?
Good point for the M2P, the quality of the drone AND mostly the camera. I didn’t derush my videos actually but they looks like really good quality when you used the mavic air before.
With the mavic air, one battery was difficult to flight 2 times. I needed to go more fast for take few videos. Also, I can make 2 flights easily or 3 times when I take a quick shots.
And I have a last problem or question, (see the timelapse), I take the lockout mode for the drone go straight but if you see the timelapse, the drone turn alone at the end, I didn’t touch the controller or phone. He did this 2,3 times. Someone have a idea what it could be ?

I really am not the biggest fan of the new gimbal cover compared to the two piece system we have for the Mavic Pro. I think DJI did its best to design a system that is easy and compact to use, but in fairness they could have done a little more to make it more ergonomic.

The new gimbal cover is s$#@ AND the filters too ... what is this fixation ?! I'm worried everyday when I need to change the filter (I spent sometimes 6-7 min for changed one !!!). I took polarpro but I can't understand why they don't make the same system that the Osmo action ? It's so much easy, run & gun,..

I put a piece of sellotape on the gimbal cover part that touches the top of the camera, no scratches, very simple, cheap fix.

I haven't gotten that far with filters, but agree with you...
Why worry about some minor cosmetic scratches. By the time it is obsolete enough to sell the presence or absence of the scratches will make little if any difference..
