good day to all. I can’t fix the drone in Russia, they suggest throwing it out and buying a new one, what kind of service centers? How are they authorized? The problem is this: I stopped broadcasting the video and gives the message “the drone is off”, the picture and the ability to control disappear, it happens spontaneously, does not lend itself to regularity, recently it almost immediately gives such a message even without takeoff! Model Mavik Pro 2. The warranty period has passed. I bought it about 3 years ago. What to do? Can I send to the manufacturer for? Since in Russia it is useless to contact the services! Dear Forum,

Hope it's OK to "crash" this post here, as it seems difficult for me to post it elsewhere. I have a Mavic Pro 2 issue myself: I am currently at Lake Baikal, Russia, and my Mavic Pro 2 crashed when undertaking an evening shot.

Most drone parts seem to be OK, but the humble has opened on one side, see pic.

As I am in Russia for 2 more weeks, I wanted to ask for your practical advice: should I definitely not fly the drone currently wirh this humble issue, or would you say, just try and find out how it works?

Looking forward for your advice. Next round of vodka shots is waiting here, at shore of Lake Baikal

Hi Martin, sorry to know the issues you had with your aircraft. If everything's fine and no errors popping on the app, that's good. Cosmetically, I would suggest being aware of the propellers as it would determine the behavior of your flight after that incident. Kindly check if there's damage or chipped off the blades. If yes, we suggest changing it for a safe flight. Hope this helps. Thank you.

Yes, I changed 2 blades, flying seems to be ok. Camera movement works, too, but I should bring drone to service once I am in back in Germany - the gimble is sometimes not able to hold position, e.g. when putting in in 90 degrees downwards position.

I turned to your center retold all the symptoms and the essence of the failure, you told me that you can clean the drone in ultrasound, but the problem is not solved and offered to change all the insides (that is, all the main boards) as such works are almost like a new drone, your specialist said that it is easier for me to buy a new one. from conversation I understood that you have no technical opportunities deal with this question and fix locally. the proposal to nodular replacement of all internals and the pricing of this question did not suit me. that's why I decided to contact the manufacturer directly. also I am not satisfied with the fact that I send the drone to Moscow without a guarantee of adequate repair for paid diagnostics. in this case, I'd better send it to the manufacturer with a guarantee of adequate repair. Even if the drone is damaged by water, isn't it repairable? in service they told me that in addition to know they have nothing more to do. I believe that this is not a one-time cheap trinket and should not be repaired with a complete replacement of the insides. that I'm the first one in the rain? I'm not asking to replace it or make warranty repairs. I want to make a competent diagnosis and replaced the circuit Board and the chip failed, and not the node elements (the intestines) that are not comparable to more expensive. if possible in your company.

Даже если дрон поврежден водой, разве он не подлежит ремонту? в сервисе мне сказали что кроме чистки ультразвуком они больше ничего сделать не смогут. я считаю что это не одноразовая дешёвая безделушка и должна ремонтироваться не полной заменой внутренностей. что я первый попадаю в дождь? я же не прошу заменить его или сделать гарантийный ремонт. я хочу чтоб сделали грамотную диагностику и заменили платы и чипу вышедшие из строя, а не узловые элементы (замена внутренностей) что не сопоставимо дороже. если это возможно в вашей компании.
