Hi all,

In a thread on this forum the following question was asked [ and with different opinions/answers...]
This behaviour, wich is not specific described in the manual, is so important to know; so i asked DJI Susan for a DJI answer.

Question : Does OA works when flying in SPORT mode (OA automatically disabled) when the AC<>RC connections is broken and the craft is returning to home (fail-save RTH 'mode')
Answer : YES. [ DJI Susan answered this question ( https://forum.dji.com/thread-196667-2-1.htm post #53) ]

( Ofcourse only in OA is enabled in the settings )

cheers

Which drone in question?

Good question ; because its so general logical this behaviour, i would say all DJI drones (edit: after reading post#3 -  wich have OA)

logic :
In SPORT mode OA is automatically disabled.
In RTH 'mode' OA is enabled (and automatically enabled when flying in SPORT before disconnection)

For sure the M2 as this thread was about a M2.

Good question ; beacuse its so logical this behaviour, i would say all DJI drones.

logic :

Doesn't work on my DJI Inspire 1
I think the drone switching to RTH from any mode will automatically switch on OA for those drones that have it and return at a standard speed. I've lost connection in tripod mode before and it returned at 27MPH so must be the same principle.
