I cannot change to 2.4. I am using my android 5 phone connected to RC via OTG. I have tried many channels. I live in Canada in an area with very little interferance on 2.4 and 5.8 and have latest updates. App is showing channels 1-11 so am in FCC. Wifi and BT off. App says channel will be updated after wifi reset but it never changes to 2.4. Lots of older posts about this but I cannot resolve this problem.

Your device is what model?
And are you certain that the wifi of your phone is off and not "stucked" in the wifi of the RC?
Which can happen, even if using a cable.
You are using OTG anyway, so delete the RC's-wifi in your phone!

Also: try an older go4, perhaps that gets you somewhere then!

But one question:

You are on FCC, so WHY do you wanna change to 2.4Ghz?
The output in FCC and 5.8 is even a bit higher, as in 2.4.
And my Sparks are going in both bands, FCC-mode, to the same distance, with the same constant in stream and other parameters.
Also i really like that in auto mode, in FCC, the bird is be able to decide, which band gets the better signal, midair!

Hi, we're sorry for the inconvenience. May we know what mobile device are you using? Have you tried to connect your phone via wi-fi and check if you could modify the frequency channel? You may also refer to the screenshot below for compatible devices. Please keep us posted on the latest progress. Thank you for your support.

Thanks for the replies,

Your device is what model?
Motorola Moto G

I will try this.

You are on FCC, so WHY do you wanna change to 2.4Ghz?
1. Well I should get a little better range with the lower frequency.
2. I have a 2.4 ghz repeater that I want to try.

The output in FCC and 5.8 is even a bit higher, as in 2.4.
I'm not understanding this statement.

Have you tried to connect your phone via wi-fi and check if you could modify the frequency channel?
I cannot change to 2.4 via wifi because as I understand it this will cause the phone to RC connection  to change to 5.4 which my phone does not support.
I understand that my phone is not on the list.

That is my thought, about the "stucked in wifi?" thing:
"- cannot change to 2.4 via wifi because as I understand it this will cause the phone to RC connection  to change to 5.4 which my phone does not support.-

But you know, there is a line of Moto G's, so that is not much of a hint, here!

-I'm not understanding this statement.-
The output  in FCC and 5.8 is 28 dBm, in 2.4 it is "just" 26 dBm
https://www.dji.com/spark/info

2.4 GHz : FCC: ≤26 dBm; CE: ≤18 dBm; SRCC: ≤18 dBm; MIC: ≤18 dBm

5.8 GHz: FCC: ≤28 dBm; CE: ≤14 dBm; SRCC: ≤26 dBm; MIC: -

with an older version you can change the channel ,4.1.14, change channel, then upgrade to 4.1.15, or use a mod version 4.1.15,
or boost your Spark with new DJI super patcher 2.0
