My first flight was in the park in the evening, in the distance and low altitude there were no disturbances
but when I stood close to the mini and just checking height, it lost a signal at a relatively low altitude 24m
yellow lights flashed, and the video on display lost signal, so I had to land.
of course I raised the maximum Altitude / Distance before, to more then 50 m
But it didn't reach 50 either
Could the high antenna in the park have restricted the signal?
I've attached a video (the height I can, it's only up to the park antenna height)
Or should I switch setting to Manual and choose a cleaner channel?
(was set to auto)
I found it confusing, that manual channel selection for both 2.4/5GHz is a single UI element... I was trying to figure out, how to switch from mode 5Ghz to 2.4GHz (the interface showing you the active mode is a passive projector - not an interactive element) only to realize both of these mods are mixed together at the channel selection... - Manually switiching to 1-13 (2.4 Ghz) - suddenly allowed me to go over 700m away without a problem instead of 50-70m right above my head in 5Ghz mode.
I think the best would be to allow "Auto channel selection", but let us select preffered mode... Maybe with future updates. (Or did i miss something?)

how can i switch to 5.8? i can see only the 2.4 option (i have CE version)
After changing to manual, just click one of the channel column (indiciating interference) to swith on it
But 24m on 2.4 is weird... Must be reeeeeeally busy area...
The only advantage of 5.8 is
Less used frequency in general
Higher bandwidth (although not really important for drone flying anyway IMO)
The CONS of 5.8
higher frequency means shorter wavelength, means worse signal penetration and distance
5.8 mode seems to be made as a backup for short distance in highly 2.4wifi overpopulated areas.
To switch manually just change to manual select a channel for either 5.8 or 2.5 your app will auto shut down and start up again and you will stay fixed to channel you selected .

Thank you, i will test it in my next flight
Is there a situation that the antenna in the park blocked the range?
because once I reached the end of the antenna at altitude I lost the signal (24 m)

Yeah maybe test in a bright situation, if it´s too dark and downwards vision sensors cannot see, it may be affecting the height.
I had similar issues and sent mine back for a refund/replacement.....
