Hey Guys,
I edited my first cinematic mavic mini footage today. I decided to upload to Youtube in 4k. There seems to be a difference in quality between 2.7k and 4k when uploaded. Did DJI give us a drone that is capable of 4k without actually telling us? anyway, let me know what you guys think!

To answer your (most likely just a joke rhetorical) question, since I believe you know already knew the answer:
- That's just how the YT compression works... YT will always rob your video of its details, because all quality presets have a bitrate cap...
Higher the resolution, higher the bitrate cap.
Uploading a FullHD video VS uploading a 4k video - while both playing back on youtube in 1080p - the experience probably wont't be that much different.

When the videos are being uploaded to your the videos are compressed and some information that was recorded from the DJI Mavic Mini may not translate to the result generated by Youtube after processing and compression of the video. Btw, the mini seems to be a really nice platform for prosumers. And of course pros will make even inexpensive equipment perform well.

Nice footage,  some people prefer Vimeo for higher bitrate video and quality.

Great video and thanks for sharing.  However, that snow and ice just reminds me of why I live in a "No Snow/Ice Zone".  

I've come to not like uploading to youtube. Seems every time I upload a 2.7k video, it gets down converted to 1080. While the video still looks good, it isn't what I uploaded, lol.

Your youtube video shows max resolution upto 4k. How did you actually convert 2.7k to 4k? Which sw used? Can you please share that conversion settings as well?
