In Youtube there are some "windtests" which are looking successfull. On the other side there are many reports of blow aways .... mmmhh. Ok, then there are 2 factors regarding blow aways and strong wind. You can generally fly in strong winds, but avoid getting into a situation where you need to use RTH. As I've heard, almost all blow aways are only caused by RTH. Or in short: flying in (strong) wind is ok, RTH in strong wind is a nogo.
I'll have to test this out next windy day . I heard someone say it doesnt use max power in RTH , so sounds posible . I'll test it out asap.
Personal the only time i've ever used RTH on any drone it to test that it work s |
