    this is my first time to own drone, and not so familiar to control the drone. would like to ask

1. How do i self unlock the area? i was try but unable to unlock
2. Should i register with goverment even i did the self unlock? ( Singapore and Malaysia)
3. Can i fly in the map area where dont have remark any color?

Regards. I hope I can help you. 1) With DJI FLY it cannot be unlocked manually. For now. 2) With the mini, it is not necessary to register to be able to fly RECREATIVELY but it is always good to read the rules of the country where you are, they usually apply almost equally in all places. Check them on the web. 3) If the area is colorless, it is a free area, so you can fly with ease. The rest of the colors tell you that you can fly too, but I take a series of measurements, edto takes me to point 1, where you have to check according to where you are, what measures are applied.

When you create an account you need to "earn" some points by commenting, uploading an avatar name and photo for example will give you some too, I think you need like 20 in order to be able to create your first post.

Apparently the next update in "late December" will fix that.

1. You may send an email to flysafe@dji.com for you to be able to unlock a certain location. In addition the DJI Mavic Mini's firmware will be optimize this December for you to be able to have the self unlock feature.

2. It will depend on the rules and regulation of a certain location where you want to fly your DJI Mavic Mini.

3. I will be providing you a link ( https://www.dji.com/flysafe/geo-map )  where you can check if a certain location is " No Fly Zone " or a certain location is free to fly you drone.

In Singapore is very minimum Free fly zone for practice , hope the latest firmware release soon

RC screen shows red outlines on image.  How can I get these red outlines out?

Under the camera tab, turn off focus peaking. It is a manual focus indicator.
