I wonder if anybody can help please?

I have setup a waypoint that flies around the outside of the field at the back of my house that works well.

The plan was to have the M2P do the flying while I could control the camera.

Well that was the plan but what happens is while the drone is flying I can for example move the gimbal down by using the wheel on the Smart Controller but when I let go of the button it automatically returns to its straight ahead position!

I must have missed something but what it is I do not know so am looking for advice on what setting needs to be configured to allow me to have full control of the gimbal.

Running the latest firmware on both drone & controller.

Long ago when I used DJI waypoints! I believe You need to disable  the gimbal in the (waypoints settings). I use litchi app for waypoints and I do so (disable the gimbal).
