A member of the Official RMS1 Owners Facebook Group mentioned that a Beta Release of a RMS1 SDK may be imminent.

Has anyone in this forum heard anything about that?

That would be grandiose, but I'm not holding my breath...

If this is the Text Mode SDK, I am kinda unofficially using it. So yes. Something is coming.

There is an in progress SDK that allows someone to remotely control the S1 through a normal TCP/HTTP connection this is present in existing firmwares but is disabled by default. Enabling it requires root access to the S1. I managed to enable it.

Could you give us hints about how to do that?

I think at most DJI will allow to use some of the high-level API calls over HTTP like was mentioned above by @BGA. I think they would never open up CANBus/MBus protocol specs or allow to modify firmware on Intelligent/Motion controllers. Looking at the hardware/software they are using, it's obvious that it's made to be proprietary and hard to figure out, so I guess opening it up  never was their intention.  I hope to be proven wrong, thou.

FYI, as per my other recent posts, the RoboMaster EP launch is tied to the new SDK and it is indeed, the SDK I have been using.

期待 什么时候robomaster s1也能用上sdk那将会非常方便
