Hi,

Can anyone tell me how to access Course Lock on the Mavic 2 Pro please.

If it does not exist for this aircraft I will be disappointed with the wisdom of the designers at DJI.

Hi. I am sorry for the trouble this has caused. With regards to this concern. Kindly please check if the DJI Go 4 version is v4.3.4 or the latest version. May I know the model of the mobile device you are using. Kindly please provide a short sample video when you are accessing the course lock feature. Please keep us posted for further assistance. Android version 7.1.2
Version V01.00.0650
DJI Go 4 V4.3.32

My aircraft is a Mavic 2 Pro

There is no need to provide a video however, I can explain

From the camera view I tap the controller on the left.

The icons then show and these are,

Normal
Hyperlapse
Quick shot
Active track
Point of interest
Waypoints
Tap Fly
Cinematic Mode.

I cannot access Course Lock by swiping in any direction but I do have a course lock within Hyperlapse. Is this a course lock that is similar to the course lock as in the Phantom P3A?

My mistake. I meant to say Home Lock - NOT Course Lock.

Hi. Thank you for the additional information. Unfortunately, the Home Lock feature is not available for the DJI Mavic 2 series drone. However, DJI received multiple suggestions from other DJI forum members and we have managed to forward this suggestion to our designated department for further attention. We would recommend paying attention to our website ( www.dji.com) for further updates. Thank you for understanding and support.

It has been years that users have been asking for this feature... my guess is DJI didn't give a crap...

I hope HOME LOCK does appear again.

It could be argued that home lock is a safety feature that is more reliable than RTH in certain circumstances.

What is your view?

I agree wih you!

I have it on the MP, but never use it after some tries.
It is not stable enough for my likes.
Not sure why, but when I rotate the drone, it is not smooth.

I rely on the blue line on the map to know where 'I' am (if I don't have line of sight anymore) to get back to home.
I never use RTH.
