Aloha 007,

     Nice shots!  That could be a really nice SUP or kayak surfing spot.  The groin offers a near perfect launch spot and then the beach is a very convenient location to get the board or kayak back on to the car or trailer to go back to the groin again - after a beer of course!

Aloha 007,

     You nailed that one!   Apparently, this shot is from a nice calm day.  The other shots were of a fairly nice swell.  Surfing those waves would have been a lot of fun.  Perfect for SUP and kayak.

     Obviously, you guys do not need any advice from us guys in Hawai'i.  You got it wired!

Easkey right is a very famous surfing spot just 4 miles up the coast from us, they held the world kayak championships in 2004

Aloha 007,

     Definitely some nice 8 foot waves and great barrels there.  The talent knows and they went there!  Nice video!  

     Personally, I think that size wave is the most fun.  So much you can do.  Laniakea is like that but goes off real nice up to 10 feet, then it closes out.  By the looks of it, that spot can handle 10-12 foot waves.  There is some nice power coming in there and it gets real clean from what I have seen.
