Hi. I have attached drone video footage of the very first flight of my Mavic Mini. I was at a local park just about ready for the maiden flight when two large and muscular dogs ran within a couple feet of the launch pad and almost smashed my drone (which was powered up with the camera on and was just sitting on the launch pad waiting for the take-off command). The dogs weren't around at all when I was going through pre-flight setup. They showed up out of the blue and weren't barking at all to announce their arrival. I would say 75% of the dogs in this city park are always on leashes. The other 24% are usually alone with their masters controlling them. Fortunately the two unknown dogs (part of the 1%) knew that a Mavic Mini was not to be messed with.

Locally, dogs have to be on leashes AND under CONTROL in public areas save dog parks.

Riding my bike on MUT I encounter many BAD OWNERS that let their dogs run free.  A well trained dog is at best a well trained dog, but not capable of understanding consequences of FUBAR'd  a $400 drone.

I love dogs, but CONTROL mine even at home.

Many folks upon seeing the busted drone would offer $50 and call it even!

Folks ask about my bikes, thinking it costs"maybe, $500?"  I tell them my front wheel cost bout that.

More like 'animals please stay away from drone'.

Thankfully no harm done (I'm hoping), but it can be annoying when dogs are off a leash. And this coming from a dog lover!

Woof! No damage to the drone at all and my first startled instinct was to immediately grab the drone from off the ground. Dog gone it I did feel lucky!
