I have the same set, and did some exposure testing. The filters seem to correspond as filtering the light out from 3-6 stops using ND 8-64 respectively. So yeah, if normal exposure calls for a shutter speed of 1/4000 of a second @100 ISO, then yeah, you should be able to get down to 1/60 of a second @ 30 FPS which should be good for cinematic blur and no noise from the sensor. Haven't tried real world flights yet, but at least I have a good point of reference, and it appears they should handle most lighting situations as far as I can gather. As far as the quality goes, one youtuber said they're "same" as Tiffen brand. If so, Tiffen have been around for a number of years, and used to be known for good quality. Also, It is great that they fit in the fly more case on top of the batteries as well. |
