I got the mini few months back bit it says rc not connected to mobile device. I tried everything in every forum, resets, cables, updates. Nothing worked. Weird thing is it worked on my gf s8+. After 2 weeks of it not connecting i tried after work one day and it connected no worries. I flew for an hr. Next day back to square 1, same issue. So i returned the mini and bought the 2 pro expecting it to work with diff app. STILL SAME PROBLEM!! Step 4 of the startup tutorial it wont register my phone being connected even tho the rc is charging it so i cant "link" phone to the drone. I would by another phone but my s8+ worked 1/150 tries so i dont know what the damn issue is and if thisll happen with another phone. I even swapped sims with my gf whose on another network and still wouldnt read the phone. Im at my wits end with this. WTF  IS GOING ON DJI!! Your drones arent cheap and i cant afford this to not work
