My 2 year old phantom will not connect to drone after an update that failed.

My controller started messing up.
When charging the lights dont cascade the 2 left lights are solid and the 3 light just blinks.
When I turn on my controller it just goes on with 1 push with no sound. (shuts off normally)

So I'm stuck with a controller I can't update the firmware on becouse it's not connected to drone.

I have seen some posts on here with very similar problems but none of the fixes work like pushing L1 and L2 and rolling button to go back to factory setings?

Will some of the more advanced uses please speak up...
I think my next step is to reflow the board to fix a connection problem.
Hey what do I have to loose other than a $400 remote that should cost 75 bucks!

I have tried all this. I have had no hits or accidents.
I take very good care of my equipment. This all happened when I got drone out of winter storage.
I did get all working fine on first attempt. Then I was updating the firmware and it got past download then went to install.
After about a minute it failed. After that I'm in this position.

I did have one batt fail and had a swollen cell, so I will not use that.

I have a video of my problem @ start up but having problems uploading here.
Can I upload videos on this forum?

unreliable USB connections, ports, and an unreliable PC can cause it to remain bricked

Always use Youtube.

Yea, I use youtube all the time for this stuff, and fixing cars. haha
I have tried different phone cables and and Ipad and Iphones.

I wish I could get RC updated from DJI assist on PC.
Phantom Pro can't from what I have seen.

I'm thinking this controller is just bricked or bad solder on the board. Ive seen a bunch having this issue.

Aloha WM,

     If you cannot use the DJI Assistant 2 on your PC, you have a PC or update problem.  Each update for the P4 Pro using DJI Assistant 2 requires that you update the DJI Assistant 2 software first because the update is in the new DJI Assistant 2 software on the PC or Mac.  DJI has been using this system since the P4 and Mavics were introduced, but not everyone got the memo.
