My Mavic Air Drone has developed a curious problem as it will not respond at all to the controller's right stick being pulled towards me, i.e. backwards (mode 2).
I have isolated the problem to the drone instead of the [obvious one] of the controller by flying it by iPhone Only, and eliminated a 'No Fly Zone' possible problem by flying it inside in Atti Mode where the problem persists.
There are no nearby objects for the sensors to sense and no beeping from the drone, just no movement backwards. Is there a way to reset the drone or perhaps I should upgrade the firmware?
I am always of the opinion that "if it ain't broke don't fix it" so haven't upgraded for a while, however it is now 'broke' !!
Anybody any ideas? Very interested if anyone else has had this problem.

Hi, which of these files is needed because none of them are in plain text but just contain what looks like gobbledygook, and this site wont let me upload any of the files because they are not in the accepted format.

There's something wrong with those links.
All three are empty and have no data at all.

Should I be looking in  "Flight Logs" or "Flight Records" ?

It's in the Flight Records folder.  Look for the .txt files.

Probably not and it's always a good idea to identify the cause of the problem and then address that, rather than trying random things that are probably unrelated.

It's all there .. if you know what to look for.

Regarding your flight data posted above ...
1st flight
No GPS until the last two seconds of teh flight and the right stick was not pulled back in the last two seconds.

2nd flight
Without controller shows no joystick input data (because tehre were no joysticks

Next 3 flights
Without GPS, there's no way to tell if your drone was moving backwards, forwards or sitting still.

If you want to crack the mystery, go outdoors, wait for GPS before launching and do a proper test flight and come back with data from that flight.

OK. I'll just have to find a place well away from the airport so I can do a proper comprehensive test, thanks.
